Year of Fog map:One of the most rewarding aspects of writing The Year of Fog was getting to know my city more intimately. I spent a lot of time on foot, seeking out unfamiliar nooks and crannies. I hope you enjoy wandering the streets of San Francisco with photographer Abby as she searches for six-year-old Emma.
