Litquake!

October 6th, 2005 by Michelle

Surely you’ve already started thinking about Litquake. Planning your outfit, reviewing the schedule of events, figuring out how you’re going to fit in Dave Eggers, Lemony Snicket, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Michael Pollan, Amy Tan, and dozens of others into the same weekend. But if you haven’t yet mapped your pub crawl route or found copies of the books you want signed, what are you waiting for? The complete schedule is here, and the complete list of authors is here.

And here’s a little nudge for the Abulinix users among you: I’ll be reading with Stephen Elliott, Michelle Tea, and Will Christopher Baer at the Makeout Room during the pub crawl on Oct 15, beginning at 8:00 p.m. Earlier the same day, I’ll be reading with Lonely Planet editor Don George and contributors to the anthology By the Seat of My Pants at Cassanova Lounge (5:00).

About Sans Serif

Sans Serif began as a literary blog in September of 2005. Over time it has evolved into a more eclectic venture, with posts on books, politics, current events, literary happenings in the San Francisco Bay Area, publishing news, the writing life, and writing exercises. This blog is written by Michelle Richmond, author of four books of fiction: The Year of Fog, Dream of the Blue Room, The Girl in the Fall-Away Dress, and No One You Know (forthcoming, 2008).
