Kyra Davis’s Literary Soundtrack

July 3rd, 2006 by Michelle

Kyra Davis, author of Release for Passion, stops by with her literary soundtrack:
1) The soundtrack to your latest book (what did you listen to while you were writing it?) : I didn’t listen to any particular artist or CD when writing Passion Betrayal And Killer Highlights. I usually listen to the radio when I’m writing and then every half hour or so the DJ will play a song that I’m seriously into at which point I’ll get up and dance around my house until it’s over. Then I’ll sit back down at my computer, freshly energized and ready to focus on writing again. However I do listen to something special for every sex scene I write, it helps me choreograph them. In the case of this last book I listened to Prince’s 90’s single, Cream.

2) One song title (from any album) that would make a great book title: Actually my next book (which is coming out in November) is titled So Much For My Happy Ending. Apparently Avril Lavigne and I think alike.
