after the mfa blog

August 23rd, 2006 by Michelle

Gordon Hurd, a recent graduate of the MFA program in Creative Writing at the University of San Francisco, has an interesting new blog called After the MFA. His about page describes After the MFA as a blog about “writing good stories, teaching good writing, reading good books, and having good times.”Early offerings include an interview with Lewis Buzbee, author of The Yellow-Lighted Bookshop.

Hi Victoria. Thanks for stopping by, and good luck with the running!

I’ve been using Technorati as a search tool for a long time, but until now hadn’t done that “claim your blog” thing for sans serif.

About Sans Serif

Sans Serif began as a literary blog in September of 2005. Over time it has evolved into a more eclectic venture, with posts on books, politics, current events, literary happenings in the San Francisco Bay Area, publishing news, the writing life, and writing exercises. This blog is written by Michelle Richmond, author of four books of fiction: The Year of Fog, Dream of the Blue Room, The Girl in the Fall-Away Dress, and No One You Know (forthcoming, 2008).
