NEWS:

New Issue of Fiction Attic

September 22nd, 2006 by Michelle

The new issue of Fiction Attic is now online.
In Issue 19, Fiction Attic returns to its original inspiration with three very short stories by James Warner, Jay Boyer, and Kevin Brown, plus a longer hullabaloo by Todd Chapman and artwork by Thomas Kearnes.

We’re also pleased to bring you an interview with Katia Noyes, whose debut novel, Crashing America, made a big splash in San Francisco and beyond. Katia talks about dyke punk, trucker ballads, the beauty of not knowing, 1997 Ridge Vineyards York Creek Zinfandel, good eats in San Francisco, and why you shouldn’t ask about fist fucking at a reading.

In The Tao of Wade, Wade Williams from Texas sets us straight on child-rearing, Richard Thompson, Edward P. Jones, the uselessness of air miles, Little Grumbly Granny, and passing a birthday in a mall in Houston.

And in Quoth the Raven, a hard-to-find excerpt from Romney Schell’s 1979 underground classic, At the Disco.
