Working to the end:
Brown was still touring, and was scheduled to appear at The Palace Theater in Waterbury, CT on Dec. 27. Despite his age, he had 31 scheduled shows between now and August 2007, many of them in the first two months of the new year. He was hospitalized yesterday for pneumonia, but his agent said yesterday that the unstoppable crowd-pleaser planned to perform next weekend.
