sticky cover

World Leader Pretend
James Bernard Frost, author of the forthcoming novel World Leader Pretend, didn’t like his cover. So he hired a sticker artist to make him a new one. This a very funny idea. And it’s a nice sticker. James is a cool cat. And, hello, I hate to objectify, but his wife Andrea looks better pregnant than anyone in the history of pregnant people, ever. At least she did four or some years ago, when they came to a party at my old place in Daly City. She was wearing this short black thrift store dress and knee high black boots. Then I got pregnant a couple of years later and tried to pull off the same outfit, and I looked like a tire. Like the tire on a very big truck, a monster truck. Which my son would have loved, had he been around to witness it.
