autism rates very high

This new study puts autism rates in the U.S. at a startling 1 in 150 children. I wrote briefly about Paul Collins’s excellent book, Not Even Wrong: Adventures in Autism, on this site not too long ago. Another good book on the subject, written by an autistic woman, is Temple Grandin’s Thinking in Pictures.
