two sf readings, plus dzanc

February 14th, 2007 by Michelle

Dzanc Books has announced two titles it will be publishing in 2008: Yannick Murphy’s story collection In a Bear’s Eye and Bob, Or Man on Boat by Peter Markus. Proof that Dzanc Books is an innovative and exciting new press. Get the details here.

Michelle Tea will host the Radar Salon series at the Harvey Milk/Eureka Valley Branch of the San Francisco Public Library on Feb. 20. Guests will be Eileen Myles and Justin Chin. I had the chance to read with Chin at Stephen Elliott’s book release for My Girlfriend Comes to the City and Beats Me Up a few months ago–love him!

The theme for Inside Storytime this week is Love Stories, featuring Steve Almond, Sharon May, and others. At the Rickshaw Stop, Feb. 15.

About Sans Serif

Sans Serif began as a literary blog in September of 2005. Over time it has evolved into a more eclectic venture, with posts on books, politics, current events, literary happenings in the San Francisco Bay Area, publishing news, the writing life, and writing exercises. This blog is written by Michelle Richmond, author of four books of fiction: The Year of Fog, Dream of the Blue Room, The Girl in the Fall-Away Dress, and No One You Know (forthcoming, 2008).
