Kate Braverman Reading

May 10th, 2007 by Michelle

Catch Kate Braverman at an event sponsored by the fabulous Friends of the San Francisco Public Library on Wednesday, May 16, at 391 Grove Street in San Francisco, 6:30 p.m. Braverman will read her short story, “Cocktail Hour,” for which she recently won the Pushcart Prize. You can read the inimitable Braverman’s stories online here. Links to interviews can be found here. Bay Area lit types will also enjoy the Braverman’s monthly “literary talk show” Fusion City at Edinburgh Castle. I had a chance to do this show a while back; other guests were Katia Noyes and Charlie Anders…fun!

Is Fusion City still going? I was under the impression it had stopped. It was a wild, exciting ride and I was telling all my friends to check it out.
