Marty & Peggy's house on Whidbey Island
I just came across the gorgeous Whidbey Island home of my friends Marty and Peggy in the Seattle Times, via Apartment Therapy! Think Cannery Row meets green living meets modernism meets island style. Whidbey Island is home to the fabulous Hedgebrook Writers’ Colony, where I had the good fortune to spend a month working on my first novel several years ago. For years, Peggy and Marty owned and operated the wonderful Smilin’ Dog Cafe.

And by way of Google Alerts, found this gem of a blog.
