Newmarket begins casting suspense thriller
Newmarket’s next production, THE YEAR OF FOG, is now casting. Based on the New York Times best-seller by Michelle Richmond, THE YEAR OF FOG is a suspense thriller about a young woman driven to prove the facts in the case of a child’s disappearance. “We are very excited by the prospects of casting, as well as by the attachment of director Karen Moncrief,” said Newmarket’s Creative Director, John Crye. Having such an exciting talent at the helm makes the role even more irresistible.”

Michelle Richmond’s “The Year of Fog” has now sold over 493,000 copies across all formats and has entered its 15th printing! Newmarket’s film version, adapted by screenwriter Semi Chellas and to be directed by Karen Moncrief, is now in pre-production.
