Two prizes of $2,000 each and publication by Sarabande Books are given annually for book-length collections of poetry and fiction. The Kathryn A. Morton Prize in Poetry is given for a poetry collection of at least 48 pages. Michael Ryan will judge. The Mary McCarthy Prize in Short Fiction is given for a manuscript of short stories of 150 to 250 pages or a novella of no more than 250 pages. Norman Rush will judge.
