I recently bought a food chopper from one of those little stores on Clement Street specifically for the packaging, which described the humble object thus:
Functions:
1. Let the big pieces fall down (which are sticking sometimes on the wall, as you know.)
2. Let the chopper stand alone on the table.
3. Turns on the wall of the cup, to clean the view inside.
4. Use it as a grip to take off and clean the innerlife of chopper.
I still haven’t figured out how to use the thing, and ultimately left it in front of my house bearing a “Take Me” sticker. But I can’t bring myself to part with the packaging, which has an oddly poetic ring. To think, a kitchen gadget with an inner life!
