Books to Look for in April

Via SF Girl by Bay, this monthly blog in the New York Times by artist Maira Kalman. It’s actually an old blog, looks as though it’s no longer updated, but it’s fun to peruse.

Will post soon on:
The Story of a Marriage, the forthcoming novel by Andrew Sean Greer, a worthy and beautifully written follow-up to Confessions of Max Tivoli. Actually read it about a month ago when the ARC came in the mail, but I’ve been so busy with my new book (which is going into production today…woo-hoo!) that I haven’t had time to post on it.

Also enjoying:
A Case of Exploding Magoes, by Mohammed Hanif, due out in April from Knopf

Temporary People, by Steven Gillis, due out in April from Black Lawrence Press. Gillis’s previous books are Walter Falls, The Weight of Nothing, and the story collection Giraffes.
