Babylon Salon Saturday Night

Hey, folks, I’m really looking forward to reading at the Babylon Salon series Saturday night at Cantina in San Francisco. Join me, Eileen Reynolds, Herb Sandhu, Julie Bifano, and Opium Magazine’s Editor’s Choice reader on Feb. 23 at 7:00 p.m. 580 Sutter Street. The series is hosted by Timothy Rein and Tim Crandle, who seem to have a lot of other friends named Tim, too. I’ve met at least half a dozen of them. Maury Zeff, who probably doesn’t know anyone else named Maury Zeff, will be doing introductions. (My sister Misty knows exactly no one named Misty in our town. One Dana Michelle Richmond who was a runner-up for Miss America in 1988; if you scroll down you can see her interview, she’s at minute 5:12. If she won the Miss America pageant, she would have bought a new refrigerator. But she didn’t win.)

The location host is one Duggan McDonnell, whom you may have read about in the San Francisco Chronicle’s recent article, Bar Stars: A Dozen Trendsetters Who’ve Shaken up the Bay Area Cocktail Scene.
