I wrote to the Nelson Algren Award last year, because I missed the deadline. I was searching the web and found the Nelson Award, but to submit before Feb 1, 06. Is this true have I missed another deadline? No one sent me any thing in the mail. My address is 250 N. Albert Ave. South Bend, IN 46619. I would like to know when the next deadline would be?

  2. Hi Izola. No, you haven’t missed it. Visit the web link in this posting for the Chicago Tribune. The newspaper’s web site lists the deadline as March 17. There are earlier deadlines for other CT contests.
