Kore Press has just released Elline Lipkin‘s debut volume of poetry, The Errant Thread. Evan Boland, who selected The Errant Thread as winner of the Kore Press First Book Award, had this to say: “The poems show what the reader most wants: a poet certain of the craft, a writer certain of what the craft is there to do.”

I enjoyed the movie. I felt the female character had incredible integrity to refuse to give up her source and to spend all that time in jail. I haven’t researched the real story, so don’t know how long the real journalist was in jail..
