with a little help from my friends

Via Tea & Cookies, Jeffrey Morgenthaler’s Mojito Dos & Don’ts.

Finally, own a little piece of free love history for the low, low price of 8 million. Max Yasgur’s farm, home of the original Woodstock music fest/acid test/love-in, is for sale. Not a bad deal, considering the real estate includes a 2000 square foot house, a farmhouse, and a barn, situated on 103 acres just 80 miles from New York City. For a comparison, I found a 122-acre parcel in Sonoma, CA listed at 12 million and change, and a 105-acre parcel, also in Sonoma, listed just under 11 million.
