Not that I’d ever do it–I need every brain cell I can muster to pump out a paragraph–but I happily stumbled upon this blog written by a writer’s wife. It’s called A Glass a Day, and I don’t know anything about the author except for the fact that she lives in New York, is named Danielle, and has this to say about how she came to wine:
I used to live in Belgium. My second host family owned a farmhouse from the 1600’s with a true wine cellar. My host father taught me almost everything I know about wine.
The blog is brand new, and from the first three posts, it looks like it’s a great place to stop by if your taste exceeds your budget.
I happened upon the blog by way of my statcounter, as Danielle’s husband Kevin (oh, my world is full of Kevins!) had linked to my site from My Quarterlife Crisis, in which Kevin does things like quote Danielle on polygamy: “I’d be ok with you having another wife. So long as she does all the cleaning, takes care of the kids, doesn’t eat much or require expensive cloths, is willing to live in a tent in the backyard and isn’t interested in sex.” He also talks about writing and fatherhood, which he knows a lot about, since he has twin boys and a two and a half year old daughter.
