Yesterday, Ted Haggard (see below post) denied allegations he’d been having sex with a male prostitute for three years. He went so far as to say that he didn’t knowingly know any gay people, although he said there might very well be gay men in his ministry. Turns out, he’s not denying the meth charge, and I imagine that when the male prostitute plays Haggard’s voice mail messages for an adoring public, he’ll have to backpeddle on the other stuff:

A top evangelical leader who is accused of paying a male prostitute for sex admitted today he contacted his accuser “for a massage” and purchased methamphetamine from him. But the Rev. Ted Haggard said he never had sex with Mike Jones and threw away the drugs.
